All I can say.. is when I got laid off, I went to Obama Care At first they gave me a great deal. Then around 4th month, they sent letter saying premium increase along with deductible...they mentioned the volume of people influenced the increase. They wanted 28k in premium with 14k deductible for a family of myself and spouse. I called and the gal said it increase because people rushed and got all medical stuff like hernia,eye, etc surgeries done. Then... dropped the insurance. The insurance middle men didn't like that. Best to go without insurance. I paid the tax penalty and just used a flex account.
