  4. Mark Ericksen How old are you? Both my kids are genxers. I'm a Yankee who relocated to South. Civics was an optional elective. They were required to take 'state' history vs world history. I had to teach them both during summer break at home.

  5. Mark Ericksen what state?! that's a lot of history...but then that's your specialty...I'm referring to Jr high. civics is usually taught in 8th grade...and then again as a high school jr.
