@Hans cult? You mean Americans.. that's a big cult. Try again. Trump won because of agenda. He's not backing off as previous POTUS have. All campaigned on issue. Check history. The only thing that's changed is trump an outsider won! The whole reason why left Dems are fighting is because their lifestyles are threatened. Americans see this today with press. Trump will win in 2020 because people like myself who stayed home in 2020 will vote for him. I admire his tenascity.

@Hans lol...you need to visit Texas. Note not one Dem has gone to border. Houston is the worse for drugs and prostitution. When that wall/barrier is up, watch crime in that town drop. We will have a whole lot of people looking for drugs. Drugs which won't be there. Rural America is bleeding. Get out of the house.

@NaibutekiNaisou you never worked for government. I have worked with local which was shut down at one time. Here's what happens...they don't have overtime pay for either hourly or salaried. For every hour you work over the 8th you get an hour of comp time. These hrs can be accumulated. You take them off like vacation or sick. Get paid as you have. When they shut down, you can take your comp time off. Meaning you will get paid. Most government employees work towards the rule of 80. Many forget they work for public. They become complacent. In my experience, shutdown cleans house. It makes the big cheese realize you don't need 2 to do the work of one.

@sharkbyte1309 you missed the meeting yesterday. I suggest you watch the border security agents presentation. They showed fire extinguisher filled with heroin. The x Ray machines caught that one. It's very hard to smuggle drugs in at Port if entry. Best to just walked it over via rio grand. They also showed a car full of meth floated over the river. It was very interesting. Do watch it.

@TheFallinhalo don't know how old you are. This border issue isn't new. The US has faced the same problems for decades. It's a delicate issue no one wants to deal with kinda like the national debt or military stations we have overseas. For as long as I can remember, southern border is main reason contributing to crime and drug abuse. Today we can add human trafficking. Who remembers the milk carton kids? I think there are more kids missing today than ever. With time, people forget about them. It has to stop. Trump isn't making this a Polly issue. It is a humanitarian crisis. Been like this for decades. Today it's worst because of internet. Pervs don't need porn magazines. They have internet.

@ericpetres5056 the wall/barrier is just a part of the deal. Listen to the Trump border meeting. The agents said it all. They want new technology to x-ray stuff, more trained dogs, medical and other detention stuff plus a wall. They already have barriers in some places already. They work. The thing that caught my attention was the Rio grande. Can't believe a car full of drugs was floated across. They need a wall there! It's common sense. The coast guard and all the other folks do have a hard job. Trump deal will improve the quality of service.

@ericpetres5056 ps.. Trump's already started his wall. 115miles already being built. He wants to finish it vs putting it up bit by bit like others before.

@ericpetres5056 the wall was already up. San Diego has a wall and parts of Texas do too. They are just outdated. In San Diego the residents pushed hard to rebuild what was already there. Trump did just that with what they gave Homeland security last year. It protects San Diego but it leaves open other areas east. The beach is secure.
