  2. nia long most reps will because stuff like Medicaid, social security, minimum wage is a sensitive subject. Take SS. Social security is a 'trust' (our money). It was initially set up as a temporary fix to depression of long ago. Minimum wage also a temporary fix. NEVER did they think people would actually base their entire life on it as liveable wage! Minimum wage causes unemployment. They need to get rid of it. Social security system will collaspe because the system is based on those working. They never thought people would have 2.5 children vs. the avg 5 back in 30's. There are too many boomers and cuspers compared with gen x and millennials who are supposed to support it. They WILL raise the age requirement. Today it's 65. It used to be 62! Politicians use minimum wage, social security, Medicaid etc. (entitlement) to get VOTES.
