James Moore I was around during the 80's. Interest rates on loans were 15%! No bank was lending back then. It was nuts.. Trump declared bankruptcy! He was in the hole like most of America. He's lucky his dad lent him cash. He used the cash wisely this time and paid back. You remember during campaign. Trump borrowed 10 million vs taking pac cash!! He did this because...he didn't want to pay back special interest groups.

@jayray1714 cut helps me the most... retire 59 year old. I don't have to pay the health tax penalty. My IRA deduction was 6500. Plus I got 24k standard deduction. The tax cuts helped me.

@jayray1714 but we never had big cuts before. This one was historic. I really don't care about bezos. It's a free country. If you want to become wealthy like him, do what Bernie Sanders did...stick with government job for decades. He's a multi millionaire. Has great health care too. Why doesn't he proposed the plan government employees have?

@jayray1714 Bernie never explains how Medicare for all gets funded! Medicare today for those over 65 is a trust. Not an entitlement as he is pushing. Medicaid is what he's proposing.

@jayray1714 spam. You never addressed my response. Medicare is a trust. You have to earn it. You work while young. Pay into it. Then when you hit eligible age, you draw out what is coming to you. Medicaid is entitlement..poor or disabled get that. Same goes for welfare . Social security is a trust. You earn that one too. If you never worked, you will get welfare. Sanders is a fraud.

@jayray1714 wrong. He's not addressing the bigger issue...cost. The socialist countries who supply health care do so because the bulk of their taxes goes to it. Their national defense is paid by US via NATO. That's the problem. My appendix burst in Greece a socialist country where health Care is offered free at desk. Here's my experience: I took a number and waited in their ER room or shall I say waiting room. I insisted that I had an emergency. They ignored. My appendix ruptured. By the time they saw me...I was rushed to surgery. They did a hack job. I then has septis. By a miracle I survived. They then sent me off on plane with stiches to the states where I was immediately sent to hospital. This is your universal health care. My dad had to pay under table to even get a private room in Greece.

@belovedone151 look at Vermont stats. It's relatively a small state. Very cold. Expensive as hell. My house in Oklahoma would cost over a million up there. Sanders exploits social class to the hilt. He's just a socialist elitist. Has lived off taxpayers for decades! Plus, he's very old...80.
