Prior to a president leaving office, he looks and sees what he declares certified or decertified. There are millions of upon millions of paper.The national archive is supposed to handle all the cataloging. They worked with trump. He settled only keeping 15 boxes. It's all in the June 3 receipt. The question shouldn't be on document but on charge. They are charging him with obstruction. What did he obstructed. The three documents that were in desk..we're there because it's his desk. He didn't destroy any documents. He didn't sell any. The affidavit is going to be the smoking gun to dismantle fbi. Corrupted. They need to find out who ordered the raid. @zorro4962 they were secured according to the June 3 document. All were housed in a storage room under lock and secret service guard. You can't get any more secure. Obama has all 33 million documents located in each of his 5 mansions. How do I know this...national archive. It's like a library there's a log of every document checked out and in and where it's at. Color coded and numbered. The crazy part is the fbi leaked a photo of such documents on maralago floor making it look like trump was a slob. They exposed to the world the color code and numbers. That in itself is a national security violation. Media also showed it...not good.

The boxes of documents were in the storage room as cited in June 3rd receipt. FBI found them there. The 3 documents in his desks show that maybe he was writing a book and needed them as reference.. All presidents do this. If he was obstructing why leave documents in his desk. He would have burned them right?! This is stupid. Fbi is done.

@budman4224 no...they don't. Look at what the act says. Trump is the executive as constitution says. These are white house administration documents...his personal stuff. Now that said, during the 4 year terms there are trillions of documents per white house. Those are housed in the national archive...the president can declassify or classify document in white house. These are not documents from labor, fbi, cia, defense, etc. Those depts also have trillions upon trillions of documents. The VP has his own documents too. Biden took some with during his reign. Obama took 33 million according to national archive. Trump took 15 boxes. All decertified according to him. He put out the June 3 receipt. Ask why they need all need to take any documents. It's because of books, libraries, reference, momento.
