After a couple years of paying high taxes the same people realize that it's a scam. History repeatedly shows this. Nothing is free. In fact things are expensive when you have the elitist controlling the purse. Look at his state. Vermont is very expressive. Went there for a vacation. A hamburger was 10 bucks. They have a tax for everything! Crazy. I only stayed 4 days..hotel bill was 1000 bucks!

  7. ​ @nomatters4481  fyi. medicare like social security is a TRUST. It is not a social welfare program. That one is called medicaid and welfare. In order to receive medicare and ss, you must EARN enough credits. Credits are earned via work. You work longer, you pay into the trust longer, hence, when you retire, you get what is due to you. If you work, look at your check... note the part where it says medicare tax. This tax is going towards the folks who are claiming medicare today. The system works on the working... if you don't have a large working class and then a large retirement group.. it fails. That is why it isn't a good idea. By 2034, there will be more boomer retirees vs. those workers who just can't support them. ​
