@phillupspace3534 pelosi will lose her position and house majority after November. Mnuchin admins the government purse. Congress and Senate allocate the funds appropriately. President signs off on expenditure. There's 3 billion still left in covid account. Prior to July 31, congress rep McSalley brought to house floor to extend the date to end of year. She didn't ask for more cash...she asked to extend date. Pelosi floored her request. No debate. Meanwhile, she came up with a hero act. Again, a bill that didn't get a debate. Pelosi passed it via proxy. A first!!! She's nuts.

@phillupspace3534 fyi... congress can't do anything without the senate or executive branch. I don't know if you skipped civics in 8th grade. Go back...it's called checks and balances. All is in that chapter. Today house is not your normal congress. In March pelosi sent everyone home due to covid. She ordered (which she can) proxy voting. If you don't understand what a proxy is, do look it up. There are no floor debates. Last I looked at roll, only 60 reps were physically present. That's not a quorum. By sending all home, pelosi office has the power to override any bill today. It's her office which puts together the bills example hero's act. It's 1000 pages available online. If you read it, it's got a lot of pork in it. Most of it has nothing to do with covid. As I said the 3 trillion they passed still has 3 billion left. I ask...why didn't pelosi pass the date extension as McSalley brought up? The only reason I can think of...is power. Pelosi doesn't really want people to get aid. She'd rather see riots. This way they can say...it's Trump's fault.
