  7. Trees are pretty inconsequential to the drainage of something like a parking lot. I don't like how curb islands and landscaping create tons of work, but are never properly maintained. Materially, an open parking lot is the most efficient.

  11. Cities and property owners let trees go to crap more often than not. I see invasive garbage growing around desirable trees all the time, or they encroach buildings and other property in places that are difficult to manage. And I hate seeing a pine tree with a muddy shitmess under it. If utility crews cut trees, they end up lopsided. No tree at all is better than that. Only people like me should have trees. There's nothing wrong with an open prairie look.
