  1. They are Japanese, that is the problem. The Japanese will always support Nintendo because of their culture, Patterz. The Western Side doesn't do anything useful, so getting rid of that changes nothing. Just the truth.

  3. Because they are in their legal right. They own the IP and copyright. However, there is a difference between what is legally right for them to do, and a difference between letting someone have fun for once.

  8. *Unless you are a fan of Billy Hatcher, Streets of Rage, NiGHTs, Golden Axe, Shining Force, Jet Set Radio, etc etc, Persona, Shin Megami (Sega owns Atlus), whatever else Atlus owns (basically any non-Sonic fan). Sega is nice, but only to Sonic fans. Everyone else gets takedowns on media, or just no games.

  10.  @Conlinkin  Sega basically only cares about Sonic fans. They are no different from any other Japanese company, they just let people do whatever with Sonic. Everything else is off limits, when it comes to fanwork. At any rate, Capcom is the only one that doesn't take stuff down.

  25. Rare would beg to differ. Talented company, but after they were bought, the talent of the employees weren't used by Microsoft. The talent needs to be there, but the company also need to work with the talented employees, to make stuff happen (and to treat them well)

  26.  @orangeslash1667  Yeah, but we don't know of its quality yet, and if it is ground-breaking, that means it took 22 years for a ground-breaking Rare game. Before then, they were constantly breaking ground. Now, everyone but them (including Microsoft) seems to be breaking ground.

  28. Just Sonic fans. I am just saying it now, the only Sega fans that are treated well, are Sonic fans. Fans of any other franchise that is owned by Sega and their subsidiaries, (IE: Atlus) are treated just as poorly as Nintendo fans, when it comes to copyright.

  30. Its the casuals. If every WESTERN fan (the Japanese support Nintendo, because of how Japanese culture works) were to not buy a Nintendo product, it wouldn't matter. Casuals don't know and don't care. They outnumber the fans 15 to 1.

  31. Only Sonic. Persona videos (they own Atlus, they get the final call) are constantly getting taken down, for example. And the Streets of Rage remake from 2014, was also taken down, for example. They are no better than Nintendo, they are just good to Sonic fans, when it comes to Sonic media and NOT taking down (most of the time, they have taken some music down, recently)
