  1. Ukraine is not having a good time, and thats bad. Russia will win inevitably, and Ukraine has advanced on a terrible front they could advance on (getting on the Russian border is a waste of multiple things, such as time, resources and easy to be killed on). Russia didn't do ground-breaking stuff either, but since neither did Ukraine, and Russia is fortifying their parts, it makes them harder to take on if Ukraine tries to attack
