  1. These ladies don't know Nairobi. Kilimani is an upper middle class area dominated by tall apartments. Rich areas in Nairobi don't have don't have apartments and are very exclusive. Find better guides for Nairobi.

  2. The Kenyan lady doesn't know her city unfortunately. Seems like she was just saying what came in her mind. You left Kenyatta Avenue and veered off to Moi Avenue and she said it was still Kenyatta Avenue. She said KICC is the tallest building in Kenya while in reality it is not even top 10. Itvgas not been tallest since 1997 when Times Tower took over. Britam towers in Upper Hill district is the tallest at more than 200 metres. Nairobi is a Maasai word meaning a place of "cool waters" since that is what Maasai to it as. As an East African you will be charged same price as Kenyans and so there's no need not to identify yourself when you go to KICC. Next time find someone knowledgeable about their city/country.

  6. Where do you get these ladies who misrepresent Kenya and have no idea about their country? Sarit centre is an old mall that has been in existence since 1983 but has also been expanded recently, it is not a rich man's mall but a mall that everyone goes to. Westlands is not a rich man's area, it is a mixed use neighbourhood of commercial and residential properties and mostly houses upper middle class Kenyans. The lady doesn't even understand what air conditioners are she is just saying a "cool atmosphere" in the mall when it is hot outside. If you are going to speak about a place, at least do your research or find someone knowledgeable about their country instead of someone who embarrasses themselves or their country/city.
