In reality Spain is fascist-socialist country and Catalonians want to live in the real capitalist democracy. That is why the capitalists around the world support independent Catalonia.

Do you really think Spain would try to prevent the referendum if less then 47% of people would support the independence? Spanish government knows that around 70% of people support the independence and that is why it wanted to prevent the referendum. There is no democracy in Spain. Even the communist Yugoslavia was more democratic since it allowed the referendums. And you are totally wrong about Russia because Russia holds many nations that also want independence. I hope someday they will get the chance to become independent. Right now Russia is a fascist country far from the real democracy. I think you are afraid the second Scottish referendum now that UK voted independence from EU and Scottish people voted to remain in the EU. If UK is democratic then it will allow Scottish to decide if they prefer to stay in UK or EU.

Catalonian story is just like Slovenian. Spanish army shouldn't attack Catalonia or it might face a humiliating defeat. Slovenia had referendum and then it was secretly building the army for 6 months before declaration of independence. A day after declaration the once mighty Yugoslav army attacked Slovenia from Croatia and from barracks inside Slovenia. In case of a longer war the whole world will side with the Catalonians and the Spaniards will become the demonised people. You can ask Serbs how that feels like.
