The market could go down 50% and only after 20 years it will come up to the current level. So are you prepared to lose 50% and wait 20 years to gain it back? I am not so I will stay away from that market.

@GuideGame1 It is quite likely since it happened before. The most important rule in investing is to stay away from overvalued markets and to buy only when a market is fairly priced or undervalued.

@Ikaros23 there are some markets that are currently fairly priced and in a long term they will be far more profitable than highly overvalued markets like large stocks or overvalued real estate markets.
