  3. It is a show but totally different from what most here believe. Russia is truly moving out and it doesn't want Ukraine to hit them hard during retreat. This is why them made the show and it looks like Ukraine believes it.

  5. The trick behind this is that Russians want to leave with minimal loses so they convinced Ukrainians that they should be careful because it might be a trap. Ukrainians should attack retreating Russians as hard as possible.

  7. Or you would do this to make it look as a bluff so to prevent Ukrainian army destroy or capture many Russians while they are retreating. I bet this is why they did it.

  8. It is another Russian trick. The trick is to save as many Russian soldiers and weapons so they don't want the Ukraine to attack hard while they are retreating.
