Women are the most attractive to men when they 20 and men are the most attractive to women when we are 40 despite we have a belly, some gray hairs and are getting bald. We all desire and compete for those partners that are closer to the most attractive age. Older women just want to remove younger for competing with them for the most attractive men by shaming the relationship between a man in his 40s and a much younger woman. Smart men know this and this is why we don't care about what old women say. At 45 it is much easier for me to get attention from 20 year old girl than when I was 25 year old.
