  3.  @chris1806  AI today is more about pattern recognition than actually thinking - logically understanding patterns and creating new with desired utility. Today AI doesn't understand the objects that it recognises from images or the meaning of words that it uses for pattern recognition. Chat GPT and other similar AI systems are more like a parrot repeating the most common knowledge than like an expert that can give you the best advice for your problem. We are still far from making AI as smart as human. In the future AI will start to really understand the world like we humans understand it and someday it will become smarter than average humans.
