When I visited Crete - Greece I slept in a hotel room next to an ancient mosaic that was around 3 thousand years old on the ground floor in the halway that led to my room. It was quite large and was protected by fence so we couldn't walk on it and after 3 thousand years it was still beautiful. Sleeping next to such ancient masterpiece was an increadible experience.
