  18. @ well done. Icom are one of the best, I’ve owned a few in the past and have one now . Remember to keep Channel 16 tuned in, even when you’re not close to the coast, you’ll be surprised what you might hear. Take care 👍

  21. Hello Vanessa. Cracking video and lovely story at the end. Shall certainly think of it next time I see oat cakes! Amazing whistle on the loco, seemed to echo around the valley. Travelled behind a similar loco a few years ago in Devon, amazing sound. Well done with the river and looks like you’ve found a classic hostelry, cheers 🍻.   22.  @themindfulnarrowboat  Thank you Vanessa & you too. The Paignton to Dartmouth railway if you’re ever that way. The loco is named “Omaha” and red in colour, very striking with a distinctive whistle, and now just one more oatcake which hopefully won’t go with a bang!

  34. Lovely video Vanessa. Sorry to hear your chimney is having its own venture. Rudyard Lake and the surrounding area is lovely, spent many hours there.
