@williemherbert1456 Wtf are u talking about? economy - “state of a country or region in terms of the production and consumption of goods and services and the supply of money.” Central economic problem: Humans have unlimited desires and only limited resources to fulfill those desires. This problem is unsolvable but different economic systems like capitalism or communism try to solve it by answering the 3 questions what should be produced? how should be produced ? for whom should be produced ? If you look at history the free market overwhelmingly dominates in terms of efficiency and has produced the wealthiest most happy societies in the world. While communism has only brought misery and death, and collapsed on top of that.

Profit is personal gain and it’s a prt of human nature, it fueled the black markets in communist countries that were the only ones providing stuff for the ppl, bc the gov couldn’t. What you want already exists in capitalist countries in Europe, it’s called mixed economy. I do believe that medicare for all is a good idea, but i am not a commie, but u are that’s the problem.

U may say capitalism is destroying the planet for profit, only socialist countries also have caused environmental catastrophes (aral sea) without profit motive, so no.
