I couldn't disagree more here where I live rooms air bnbs range from $20 to $50 for up to 2 people per night, cheap motels start at $90 to $120 for one guest an extra $30 for a second guest it keeps going up from there. On air bnb a whole house/apartment costs between $70 to $90 for as many guest as there are rooms, if you are in a group air bnb is absolutely cheaper plus you get to save on eating out coz you have access to a fully stocked kitchen and these are the averages I have definitely found vastly cheaper options like renting a whole at $50 to $70 per night for multiple guest easy if you are willing to book a few months in advance so even if there is only one of you ilair bnb is still much cheaper than even a cheap motel

If you stay a night or two you can't beat the prices of $20 per night vs $90 which makes a huge difference especially when you are traveling on a tight budget and when you stay over a week the amount you save on food coz you don't have to eat out and you have access to a fully equipped kitchen so it's nice to be able to afford a hotel but not everyone can

Β @amyrose2879Β I don't live in America but motels start at about $100 and hotels are at least $170 and above air bnbs are a game chager here at least where I live

That's all very well if you have the money I can't afford the cost hotels plus eating out twice a day so air bnb is the way to go but I totally appreciate how you convientally forgot poor people and people on a tight budget like to travel too π€ππΌππΌ

Β @ChocoBeauty8Β it's not about wanting to cook to per se it's about saving money, the last holiday I went on i was in Europe for 2 months and we (three adults) saved at least $6000 dollars not euro (in total, not each) in Europe by cooking rather than eating out, that money was spent on activities etc... the more money you save the longer or more fun you can have on the holiday π
