@idealicfool start abusing their power?? what world do you live in where the cops don't constantly abuse their power, good on this cop for doing the right thing but he's the exception

cops are not and have never been "the law" they are just supposed to enforce the laws, so why should they be above the law?? if anyone was "the law" it would be the politician that write said laws, although even they shouldn't be above the law
