@juliaconnell I live in Aotearoa and I've never heard of that, i was thinking that this is really strange as a half American even we haven't gone that "patriotic" in the US, so I'll have to ask someone alot older me

@juliaconnell sorry if you thought I was calling you old, because I wasn't I had no idea how old you were, just meaning I'd have to ask someone old since according to you it was 70 years ago plus being old enough to remember would make someone at least 80 I know my mom (who is kiwi) always said there was news before the movie but I don't remember hearing anything about a national anthem but now I'm curious because as I say even my American everything has to be overly "patriotic" a$$ is shocked by this lol
