Of corse people in sports and the media ie acting and singing should be able to express their opinions publicly they are humans after all and their opinions are no more valid or invalid then anyone elses other than how much theyre opinions are inline with facts, the only caveot I'd give is people in the media within the news but even then it's not just as simple as no or yes they shouldn't be allowed to share their opinions like all things I think the issue is very nuanced

  7.  @grahammewburn  i lived in Melbourne for 13 years luckily I had (by chance) moved back to NZ just before covid started. I don't want covid restrictions removed because omricon does move fast and doesn't discriminate but that's why I think masks (at the least) should remain, listen to what the Dr says at 7:52. And as an American (mum kiwi, dad and me American) you might want to leave those states off your list coz apart from America bungling this pandemic really badly, the south is by far the worst, and you almost never want to follow what the southern states of America do in any given situation.

  8. @Isaac Perkins Facts: yes both sides of the opinion: no Both sides of the opinion IS THE PROBLEM with media today and it also flies in the face of facts, look what happens in America, a journalist will have two people on, one is saying the world is flat the other guy says no it's round and the journalist says who can tell while shrugging 🤷🏻‍♀️ and then let's the audience decide for themselves. problem is we have alot of morons in the country and when you give equal weight to liars the morons will believe the facts are equal. How about instead journalist are expected you report facts and be well researched instead of rushing in a race to the bottom to be first no matter the cost to the truth and objectivity, how about the only loyalty and bias journalist have is to the facts and not to either side of the political isle (that being said it's mostly the political right that has these agenda pushing cronies pretending to be fake journalist). how about we teach critical thinking and journalism in high-school so people know how to spot the lies and the liars. how about the name journalist and journalism and news can legally only apply to people actually researching and doing investigative journalism and everyone else comes with a warning lable that it is an opinion piece from an opion commentator and in no way is it based in fact.

  13.  @FordesBreakingNews  Your argument makes no sense coz Africa has low vaccination rates due to racism and poverty, not because the whole continent of Africa is anti-vaxx. Not to mention that it's already very hard for people outside of a few African countries to get visas to come to the west if they want to because of racism and poverty and being unvaccinated (even if that person wants to be vaccinated but cant get their hands on the vaccine) is going to make it even more difficult to move around the world if they want to, so yes Africans will be punished for not being vaccinated, even when the fact that they are unvaccinated is through no fault of their own

While it's true that I don't have to like my dentist only how good a job he is doing, being the prime minister is nothing like being a dentist, because the dentist's opinion on the economy or immigration don't effect the work they do while giving me a filling. I do however have to like the a prime minister because my liking or disliking a leader for me has everything to do with whether you are good job or not, and whether you are doing a good job or not, has everything to do with policy and whether the policy of the prime minister comes from values that aligns with my values.
