  1. Ever wondered why you get called in for certain tests ? Blood pressure etc.. Because if drs fill their quantity quotas they get paid a bonus.

  2. As I was growing up we had 1 doctor, he knew all his patients personally We went in , gave our name and address took a number and sat down. The room had seats around the room and a double back to back row in the middle. It was always full . Our doctor saw every patient before closing the surgery.Then he went out on house calls. Now I go in , there's 4 drs. The room has 3 people in. This doesn't look like being overworked. Sorry but it just doesn't. Utter respect now for my old Dr, and as I said he KNEW every patient and their history.
