  1. As a mother of a daughter who has extreme nut allergy I'm afraid I'm on her side. People who don't see the effects of a person possibly losing their life by being unable to breathe have no idea of what they are talking about. Lying on the floor being worked on by paramedics while she fights for her life and to breathe with her throat closing up. Yes, she works, yes she scrutinises every label of things she eats. She carries antihistamines and an epi pen at all times. A colleague sat next to her and opened a snickers bar, resulted in her spending 6 hours in hospital as she used her epi pen . It's not eating peanuts it's the spores in the air released. In an airplane cabin where air is recirculating it could be fatal for her. No matter how careful she is there's always episodes. So , now...is your bag of peanuts on a flight REALLY so important..? Stop being selfish. Take your peanuts eat them at home, a life is worth more. Should be banned on planes, full stop.
