What ‘changing back’ am I doing, Jay? As far as I can see it is YOU who are using such obfuscations by making the first two statements and then going back on them by saying you never said we’re all guilty from the start. I mean, at what age DO you think we change to ‘being evil’ and are therefore worthy of hell? Six, maybe? Twelve?
Who exactly is doing the misleading here, Jay? It certainly isn’t me....I am not the one making false statements about the other.
‘Those people are letting pride make those decisions for them’. Wow. Crass, childish and utterly false; please explain WHAT pride has to do with the ability to reason and think for oneself.
We don’t need to ‘deal with it’ as far as the man made concept of hell is concerned....that particular part of mythology is YOURS to be concerned with, and certainly not our problem.
The only thing you have to back up your nonsense is your twisted book of mythology. Now, if you want to believe such disgusting garbage as the story of children taunting a baldy man and getting ripped apart by a bear, or that any god worth his salt would want his servant to prove he loved his god by slaughtering his son, then that is your concern. I have no problem with you believing such evil garbage.....UNTIL you attempt to threaten the rest of us into believing your nonsense. And that is exactly the crux, Jay....you ARE using threats of eternal damnation! Because that’s how weak your religion is!

Jay Cee I simply want you to explain yourself; you accused me of making ‘false assumptions’ earlier when I have done no such thing. Indeed, YOU are the one prone to making that mistake, accusing me of knowing nothing about Christianity, using ‘secular reasoning’ (whatever you meant by that, smh), of being hostile to you etc. But no worries....that is a trait I’m well used to from you religious obsessives.
No matter how you dress up the meaning of evil, the obvious fact is if, as you say, we are evil by nature then it is your ‘perfect god’ who failed in our design, ergo IT is to blame! If you really believe ANYONE deserves hell then there is no hope for you; you are a failure as a human being.
As I have said, nobody had any choice on whether to be born and yet your kind believe we are evil for simply having questions about the existence of your god and therefore deserve hell....it beggars belief that you cannot see how twisted that is!

And now, instead of countering my points, such as those in my last three posts, you throw your dummy out of the pram by accusing me of being ‘a child’ (see what I did there, lol). Well no, as I said....and of course, you ignored.....I am PASSIONATE about highlighting how disgusting and irrelevant your twisted version of religion is. I give up on demanding an answer as to how I’ve been ‘prideful’....it’d be like flogging a dead horse. Instead I will go on to your false assertion that I’m insecure.
No. The only time in my life when I WAS insecure was in my late teens when I was mired in religious indoctrination. But believe me, it was far worse than being insecure....I needed help but there was no one. Happily for me I somehow eventually found the strength to free myself from my bonds and have never looked back since. The decisions I made then secured me the happy life I now have, surrounded by love.
At 62 I can look back with quiet pride (oh bollocks). Lol.
With not a shred of insecurity whatsoever. Indeed, you have shown far more insecurity in your persistence; anyone who’s confident in their religious stance would have given up on me long ago, realising I’m not going to change my views at this stage, and would move on to snaring another poor sucker into your web of religious nutjobbery.
