  1. sack smacker  Hailing from Leeds I have had more than a taste of British healthcare and know it for what it is......excellent!  I would have had to fork out s small fortune in the US, with all the stress and worry that entails. Yes, I've had to wait sometimes (not for long) but I get wonderful treatment from hard-working staff......so what is your reason for belittling the NHS, and their employees?  It seems to me you have set yourself up to be insulted! I am not saying it's perfect, but it certainly beats the American system, which is why no other developed country has followed them. With such fondness for the US system I feel sure you must be loaded, so why not purchase private healthcare here.....at least it would still be cheaper than theirs. Or simply emigrate!

  2. whyamimpink78  "people that fly to other countries are rich to begin with".....you can't be serious: do you REALLY believe that rubbish???  Health tourism is booming these days, and plenty of people actually find it cheaper to have treatment done abroad. NO, you do not have to be rich.....please TRY to use your brain!

But I'll bite.....if it's meaningless where people go to be treated why do they put vast amounts of time and energy in choosing the right country to go to, bearing in mind various countries specialise in certain treatments?(Ye gods, maybe it's ME who has too much time on his hands.....why am I even bothering to reply to your stupid idiotic posts!)

Look, I don't know if you had any sort of an education......it certainly would appear not to be the case......but I implore you to pick up a book, search the internet, whatever, and LEARN about the many great advantages immigrants have brought to the UK in the past. Education, as always, is the key!
