I want to assure you that things are getting better all the time, as those small-minded fools continue to die off. It was a lot harder to be out in my early years, and I had many problems in coming to terms with my sexuality....I didn't know anyone who was like me, so had no one to turn to for sympathetic advice. But I eventually realised I had to accept what I was born to be, and ever since then my life has improved immeasurably. ( I may have said this before; for some strange reason I think one or two of my previous posts may have gone missing!). At 60, I can look back with quiet satisfaction at the spectacular success of our protests and struggles. Yes, some of my friends and family had problems accepting me for being gay, but now they ALL regret their anti-gay stance, and are fully supportive. I am lucky, my life now is good. I suspect you also will achieve what you want, and will thrive.  Stay strong, and good luck!
