  5. boris Odor  Yes you are missing something, boris.....a brain: this thread is not about the possible failings of law enforcement agencies, it is about the decades long campaign by the NRA to spend millions of  dollars persuading Americans they need ever-increasing amounts of guns. THAT is why your country experiences far greater levels of mass shootings than any other developed country. There is no doubt that these agencies WILL beheld accountable for any inadequacies, but that is not for this thread: as you people love to say, it is far too soon for that discussion!  But make no mistake, you gun-obsessed idiots are also to blame for this continuing slaughter of Americans by Americans.....for the rest of us it's as if you are all experiencing some kind of mass insanity, where you yearn for the days of the Wild West. It is pure evil, and you are at the very least stupid for supporting this insanity. Yes, guns are inanimate objects, but they are also powerful weapons that enable madmen to kill many more people than, say, knives. Time after time these atrocities happen and what do you idiots say in response:  'Now is not the time for discussion' and 'We must pray for the victims'. And nothing gets done. Just pathetic.
