  3. Silvia Path I have immense respect for him, because he is going against the grain of how the vast majority of leaders in his religion think. I wish there were more sincere, humble types like him in charge of Christian sects, rather than the bible-thumping evangelical nutters.

  7. Silvia Path  How do you know your version of the bible is true? After all, it has been written, translated, rewritten, etc. etc. many times, by men all with their agenda du jour. The pope has no need to change his religion, as he appears to be doing a fairly reasonable job (unlike other recent popes!), which is why he is well liked. I would even go so far as to say he is vastly nearer to Jesus than YOU judgemental types.

What a surprise! Ye gods, you religionists can't even agree among yourselves on how to interpret the bible......how on earth do you expect us rational types to conform to your insanity?  I know you inhabit a black-and-white world where everyone who doesn't agree with your particular sects beliefs are wrong, and only your kind are right, but that has never been how the world operates. So, I will ask again: why are you ok with a god that supposedly is the biggest murderer of humans in history, and allows good people to be sent to eternal torture?  Sigh, I know I will not get an answer to this......I never do, so feel free to ignore. One last point: you really need to get over your obsession with Oprah Winfrey.
