Jojew Stop bowing to your rich masters, lackey....they don’t care about you.

Albert Green Why have you sunk so low as to do what our lowlife right wingers have resorted to here in the UK: twist the facts of the Charlie Gard case? It was a panel of doctors who decided it wasn’t in that child’s best interest to fly him to the US as he was simply too ill.....it wouldn’t have done any good. I watched in disgust as lowlife and our gutter press spouted lies about it to suit their cause. They, and you, are despicable. Our NHS is doing a great job keeping us alive, in spite of funds currently been squeezed by our useless TORY government and their obsession with austerity. Every day we “praise the lard” for this wonderful institution.....as I’m sure people in every other country with socialised healthcare do!

Blackout Bully Pathetic, man. Do better.
11
kommisar How could you possibly have totally missed his point, that the cost he had to pay at source was minimal?!? We sleep easy at night knowing any unforeseen health problems are totally covered......and that applies to EVERYONE. Good health is a right in every other country than the US, not a profit-making industry.....and we're just fine with that!
8
Tyrone Watermelon His English is far better than many Americans posting online....I well believe he’s not American.
6
kommisar I missed nothing....his payment WAS minimal at the point of source. Taxes for healthcare are known as being a good thing in every country but the US, where far too many of you selfish sad specimens of humanity feel no sympathy for those less fortunate. And certain medical treatments are obviously going to be expensive, that’s why healthcare systems need to be suitably funded and managed. Why did you think I didn’t know that?
5
kommisar As for donating money....well you could say I have; I have contributed immensely in taxes, which have benefited others far more than me, and of course I’m perfectly happy with that. Which country has the most expensive health system per capita?
5
kommisar That’s why I said ‘you could say’....in my personal view I see it as a form of donation, for which I make no apology. And I do it for a purely UNSELFISH reason; I want everyone to have good healthcare because I know this benefits all society. So please tell me what twisted logic you are using when you say I'm doing it for 'selfish' reasons??? Christ, you’re like a stuck needle....the poster said he paid little AT POINT OF SOURCE, for an MRI scan. Of course he knows he’s previously paid far more, but he’s certainly not whining about it!
4
John Doe Not if you actually spend time on researching both parties....they’re far different. From the UK.
4
@Rommie26 Why is it an unfair comparison when you have more taxpayers to fund welfare issues?
4
kommisar What percentage of Americans aren’t covered by any form of health insurance? What position is the US in the world health league tables?
3
Empy Are you seriously saying that people who make ‘poor life choices’ should be shown the door?!? People like smokers, for example? If so then wow, I’ve heard many selfish comments from Americans on this issue but that is by far the worst, and I am so glad I live in Europe....over here we know that taking care of all our citizens benefits ALL society. How did so many of you Yanks end up with such a pitiable, selfish attitude towards your fellow Americans?
3
High Brass Not all that heavily independent....they needed the help of the French to win the war of independence and the help of all the Allies.....not least the Russians, to defeat Germany.
2
Marcus J And yet you had no counter argument....
2
kommisar No, ignorant fool, I GLADLY pay my taxes because I know that they benefit all our society. I pity you selfish Yanks who spare no compassion for your less fortunate fellow Americans....you insult your country. I well know my taxes aren’t voluntary, my point was they are necessary for the well-being of our society. You, however, have made it abundantly clear that you ‘don’t give a rats ass’ about the well-being of your fellow countrymen.
2
Uncle Sam Naah, we’re fine not having to have sleepless nights worrying about whether we’ll be covered for any long term health issues, bro....how many millions of peeps is it now not covered by any insurance in Yankland? Jeezus, you inbreds are utter fools! 😂😂😂

Empy I praise the lard for our wonderful NHS here in the UK. Diagnosed with prostate cancer early last year, countless tests, consultations etc., then four hour prostatectomy, after which I had excellent frequent check ups and after care. My bill? Zilch. Not a penny, including for all the medication. And because of all this excellent service I am now back to normal, and the signs are good that will continue. Despite being underfunded for the last few years by our useless austerity-obsessed Tory government the workers in the NHS are doing a wonderful job in keeping Brits healthy. And THAT is why this country simply wouldn’t stand for anyone trying to do away with it.....we know how important it is, and we look over the pond at the US’s sorry version of healthcare and sadly shake our heads. ‘Checkups, drugs and first aid’?!? Hell no! 😃
2
Zoomer Trader Look up per capita healthcare costs between countries....the US pays BY FAR the most. Hey, maybe THAT’S why you’re in so much debt....
2
NeoBandit You are the stupid idiot....and selfish towards your less fortunate citizens to boot. Many in society are just unable to achieve well-payed jobs, it’s not a case of them ‘making poor life choices’. You’re a disgrace to humanity.
2
Filipe Saramago If only more people took note of the state of kitchens....only then will food hygiene improve.
2
Tom Donlon Well, not yet....
1
Chronic Awareness You think there’s no diversity in labs??
1
victor silva You are a fool; at this point nobody knows how Covid 19’s going to develop, and how serious the outcome will be.
1
kommisar And you’re also a liar....the quality of our healthcare is VASTLY superior to your system. That’s why no other country has followed the U.S. in this regard. I have seen countless posts from Americans saying they worry about not being covered by long term health issues, while in my country we have no such worries, and sleep easy at night. For that reason alone I for one am glad I don’t live in your country.
1
Ch3k420 Which of my posts are you replying to....are you confusing me with someone else?
1
@Colin T Could you please retype that again in English.....many thanks.
1
Bruno Barros Lol, you Yanks are SOO ignorant of the rest of the world...
1
Bruno Barros Jesus, fool, you can't even spell Korea right.....L O L. Look up the spectacular successes of Scandinavian countries to see REAL social democracies at work. As long as you fools remain wilfully ignorant your country will continue to be overtaken by others in important areas. It's your children I feel sorry for....
1
PRESTON BRANTON All excellent points, Preston. By the way, I live in Preston, UK. 😄

I want to Go Home Have you being listening to your American fake “news” outlets? I keep hearing this argument from stupid Yanks and it’s getting wearing. Read my earlier post about what happened after I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year....I simply could not have received better treatment anywhere, I didn’t have to wait (even under our overstretched and underfunded system serious health problems are treated as necessary.....you ignorant fools are spreading fake news) and guess what; I didn’t have to pay a penny for it, not even for drugs! And I didn’t have the burden of lying awake at night worrying about any long term health costs and whether my insurance will cover it. We just wonder WHY so many Americans continually vote against their own interests because ‘socialised healthcare is communism’, ffs.
1
PRESTON BRANTON Sadly that’s all so true. I used to think Americans would wake up to the inequality and injustices of their country, but now I’m not sure if they’ll ever realise they’ve been duped into voting against their interests. It really is their kids I feel sorry for.
1
Brad Newberry And with that sort of anti-government mentality things will never improve healthcare wise....it’s people who keep on voting against their own interests who are to blame. There is no reason why the US can not join the rest of the civilised world and protect ALL their citizens.
1
Walt Ah, I see you’re a fake news addict....WHAT a surprise! We pay no such thing, ignorant Yank, our National Insurance is just a part of the overall tax figure, which covers several other services. Americans are paying FAR MORE PER CAPITA than any other developed country. Why do you whiners always moan about having to pay taxes.....they’re a necessity for the well-being of society.....it’s just sad I keep hearing your rich people very often don’t pay their fair share.
1
Brad Newberry Don’t you ever wonder why ever other developed country hasn’t followed the US system of healthcare? I can give you a few clues as to why this is so. Maybe it’s because we prefer not to lie awake at night worrying about whether our insurance will cover any unforeseen long term health issues. Or maybe it’s because we much prefer not to pay insanely high drug costs at the time of being ill. Or maybe it’s because we much prefer not to have to keep ambulances at bay when needed for fear of how much they’ll cost. Or maybe it’s your horrifically high rate of women dying in childbirth. Etc. Etc. Etc. I have read so many horror stories over the years of what nightmares your fellow Americans have had to endure because of your insane ‘healthcare’ system I wouldn’t wish that shitshow on my worst enemy!
1
Brad Newberry Why would I feel the need to ‘help out healthcare’, ignorant and selfish person....I live in the UK and enjoy excellent healthcare from our wonderful NHS. I just pity your fellow Americans who have to endure the nightmare of falling foul of your health BUSINESS. Over here we recognise that healthcare is a right, not a business, and know that that attitude benefits our society.
1
Big Red Don’t you Americans ever get embarrassed by spouting fake facts and utter lies? I can’t imagine what must have happened to you in life for you to reach such levels of idiocy.....all you had to do was google UK tax rates to see the TRUE rates, in POUNDS. You couldn’t even get the right currency, ffs!
1
Onesie fan ツ With such an attitude such companies will never adapt, and will ultimately fail.
1
Timay Nope. You’re welcome.
1
TheWedabest You think the US is a leader because it uses archaic measurement systems?!? Smh, you idiots are the reason why the rest of us laugh at your country.
1
HaX Von Cydow Yes, by global standards he is indeed moderate. Only in the skewed politics of the US is he considered to be a ‘socialist’, commie, etc.
1
PowerhousePR Hmm, seems you’re the idiot here....
1
Mr Random Well said.
