  1. Fabulous vlog Vanessa. The train journey footage took me back in time to my childhood when we would go to the seaside by train and the train was individual carriages just like that one. I’m not quite old enough for steam trains though,😅 the carriages were pulled by a diesel engine. I still remember the velvet seats making the back of my bare legs itch! I don’t blame you for not risking the river, it did look very fast flowing. We’ve not been able to go out in our cabin cruiser this year yet because we have to go through part of the River Trent to get from our marina to the Trent and Mersey canal and it’s been in flood so not navigable in our little boat. Lovely wildlife shots as always,the mandarin ducks are so pretty. Take care you 3, lots of love. xxxxx
