  1. What a fabulous vlog as always. How nice for you to be able to post your journals while being in sight of Edith Holden’s beautiful house. What gorgeous autumn colours and nature amongst the derelict buildings along the deserted canal. I would imagine it was quite a spooky place to moor. I wonder what came first the lack of facilities or lack of boaters! There are lots of other canals that are short of water in the summer that still gets lots of boats. How brilliant it was to eventually find some water facilities that worked. The heron must have thought it was strange to see a boat so wanted to keep an eye on you! Zephyr has the best life. I really enjoyed this vlog. Thank you Vanessa. X
