  1. The G wagon, is the base 4wd for the Australian Army as well as 6 x 6 versions and different body modifications. Replaced the Land Rover Defenders that they had for a very long time. Had to choose between the two mentioned and American Jeep ( not Hummer ), but they choose the G wagon, I think to do with superior electronics ? We also have Unimogs for a long time now. SES also uses Unimogs.
