  1. Jensen Interceptor and AWD with huge V8 and I think Chrysler auto. ? Iwrocker would like that. A very well known car for its innovation and ahead of it's time and were popular in Australia. Incredible capability. A V8 supercar getting it's power down - everyone else should have followed

  2. Ian - having worked in the motor industry, you should not be ignorant of car companies being bought out. The US is the worst. GM killing OUR Holden, SAAB, Opel, Vauxhall, etc and Ford: Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, Range Rover, Aston Martin. If not killed, then sold off to another country, not the original country. But, by no way, will the US loose their cars. Hypocrisy. Bentley is the VW-Audi Group. Rolls Royce is BMW as is Mini. BMC in Australia, finished a long time ago. MG - Morris Garages - name was bought by the Chinese. Nothing to do with the famous English sports cars. Rover went, as did Triumph, Austin and Morris and Hillman and Humber. The list goes on. I'm not sure who now owns Lotus - it once was owned by Petronas - Malaysia's biggest oil company and the twin towers!!?? They in turn own Proton - rubbish cars that didn't survive Australia - wheels magazine quoting: better to walk. Tesla's began as Lotus bodies.

One of India's richest men, Mr Tata - Tata trucks and utes - owns Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover, after Ford sold them off, to survive and bailed out, yet again by the US government - people - tax payers and to keep the Auto Union happy. Same with Volvo - sold to Geely Motors. Polestar, now basically Chinese. SAAB never wanted to be with GM - had always fought them to have their cars to feel still like a Swedish European car and crash performance etc.

  4. Prodrive was set up next to Ford, Broad Meadows or Geelong - in the development of the FPV's : Ford Performance Vehicles after Tickford finished in Australia. Were responsible for the co-developing of the F6 typhoon and Tornado Ute.
