  1. I think that you'll find that Europe sets the standard in the world for safety and emissions. Volvo - didnt make it's cars safe, because of the US - it did it because it wanted too, and because of its home environment, weather and moose etc.

  2. Yes, a lot of cars have self parking still. VW, Renault, Hyundai, BMW, Toyota, skoda, etc. Interestingly, the Australian list, has no american cars listed.
