  1. Perth's stadium is known as the Birds Nest. Those wooden looking horizontal exterior cladding thingys, actually have lights and it can create a spectacular light show. Set in parklands near the swan river. You need to Google it, to see it performing at night. Very cool. - sorry, wrong - not the birds nest - that's in China. But it appears to have a resident Wedge Tail Eagle. All surfaces, internal and external, light up. Moving light show. The last Olympics, in China - had it's diving, swimming building done by Australian architects : the Water Cube - outside material you can actually push on like a water bed.
