  1. This was filmed in Brisbane QLD. At the beginning is the Brisbane Botanical Gardens in the CBD, flowing down to the Brisbane River. There was a mangrove swamp raised boardwalk on the actual river, but was destroyed many years ago in a massive flood - I'm not sure if it has been rebuilt ? Brisbane is the only coastal capital that is actually inland, up a river - I think it has grown to the sea ? Several habited islands off its coast - car ferries. Brisbane regularly floods. Melbourne too, has a Botanical gardens, as do all capitals - all stunning - and there is an area in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens with a small lake that looks similar.

  3. I think the ozone layer has closed ? Not sure if it has reopened or opened periodically in several global places and closes again. I think it once - a long time ago - was above part of Tasmania. Australia's campaign on banning and not using CFC's, helped to close it ? However, scientists have measured the UV levels in Australia and found them to be higher than other places. I'm not sure why ? People who have lived both in Australia and overseas have stated that the sun here is more intense, not necessarily hotter. ? 50% of Australians will have skin cancers in their lifetime. Really important for people to Slip, Slop, Slap and the two new ones: shade and sunglasses - fully wrap around.
