  1. Luna Park STILL exists. It is just at the end of the Harbour Bridge pylons, on the North shore, river side ( not sea / heads side ), and around a bit. You can see it clearly lit up in video footage. Some classic rides do still exist and some brought back - the fire may have been deliberately lit - ongoing investigations / revelations.

  2. A lot of people and or companies from overseas, simply don't do their research on Australia and only see the dollar signs. Reality is different. Still a relatively small population and isolated. With air travel becoming more accessible, the x4 theme parks in QLD and other tourist attractions around the country, perhaps it is just not viable, particularly if you are going to do it on a grand scale and wanting a profit when the ongoing costs are so great. Ways out, then become too tempting. Exactly why foreign interests should be kept out

  3. Melbourne also has a Luna Park, on Saint Kilda's foreshore, next to the Palais Theatre, where many an Australian artist got their beginning and not far from the Esplanade, around the corner. Australia's theme park concentration is in the area between the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Australia's playground. Works. Even Old Sydney Town closed - but today would probably not be ethical. Which I understand. Forbes, too, use to have the Lachlan Vintage Village. A different type of thing, is Sovereign Hill, in Ballarat. Need to go there and have x3 days.
