I think scania is now owned by the VW/ Audi group. If GM didn't kill SAAB, I think their cars would retain buttons on the dashboard, as screens require menus and more actions, taking more time off concentrating on the road - as leaders in ergonomic safety, driven by their connection to aircraft cockpits via scania and SAAB aircraft and the viggen fighter jets, I think they would be appalled at the amount of distractions in a car today. Safety was their priority - even stronger than Volvo - before airbags, they are rated as the safest, in front of Volvo, then Peugeot

@dnocturn84 yes, as an Australian, and aware of the family that own Audi and their drive for monopoly and an unethical company, I don't like them !!! Go the French !

@zweispurmopped I totally agree - clean emissions engines, excellent cabin filters, excellent crash safety, innovative from a small company and country, even though connected/part of Saab-Scania, now Audi - not impressed - why don't other "countries" buy German companies completely ???
