Whichcar Magazine - from Australia, has a fantastic 2022 Google article, of what car companies own who, in a balloon graph. Explains how car companies are trying to survive - some are sharing, others are acquired. And at the end, it displays those that are basically still by themselves largely. Eg: Honda, Suzuki, Subaru, Tesla, Ford, Mazda, Ferrari etc. Does miss some marques, like Isuzu, Mercury, Lincoln, Daewoo, McLaren, Samsung and Lada - some logos dont have a name to them.

Suzuki Swift was sold in Australia, alongside a rebadged version for Holden, called the Holden Barina ( in it's lifetime in Australia, the Barina has been a Suzuki, an Opel and a Daewoo - the latter you got as a Chevrolet Sonic )

Lol 😂 - i think it is a wind splitter, but can't enlarge the picture on my Google Pixel Pro 7 phone ( i don't have a laptop/desktop - and the Pixel is overrated and over priced ); when the car comes into view when driving along in the first instance, it looks like the bonnet is up, but that car is actually based on the Toyota Corolla platform. Daihatsu is a part of Toyota, going back a long time. The bonnet should open from the front, hence to me, why it looks like a pair of wind splitters - the opening gap looks exacty the same shape. Could be wrong.

The hood gap, isn't a hood gap - just looks like it - it is actually a " wind splitter ". Sits on top of each mudguard, to aid aerodynamics. Maybe a gimmick ? Used on various Peter Brock HDT Group series Commodores - particularly the VK range.
