  1. Most of Australia's fire engines are Scanias - and Isuzu's for rural fire service. Canberra's are light green. Scania does have comprehensive headquarters here for the trucks and buses, maintenance and repairs and I think modifications. The semi high speed train that runs along the entire QLD coast, from the capital Brisbane to Cairns is a SAAB - Scania ( SAAB do make aircraft - used extensively in Australia - REX airlines.) The train is a tilt train, so it tilts into corners to remain stable, when the tracks cannot support very fast trains.
