Consider the last 4 years: Guns at state capital marches, Trump rallies stoking fear and hate, angry tweets from Trump that would get Congressmen and Congresswomen death threats, attempts to deliver bombs to, and to kidnap political members of the Democratic Party. All from their "base", I would be a little scared too.

  9.  START NEW2013  Those 11 just want to go back to the way things were ... where they could plausibly deny being racists/bigots, and people would halfway believe them. Right now they really can't do that convincingly because for 4 years Trump took a dump in the punch bowl they all gotta drink out of.
