  1. We gotta stop wearing the uniform of the thug. Far too often I see Blacks who because of the way they are dressed I wouldn't give them the time of day. That may be wrong, but it is what it is and it is multiplied by the millions every day.

  3. Even IF he has/had a CCP he could still be a criminal, or at least a perceived threat to the officer. I fully understand why the officer was afraid. Especially if he suspected him of being the armed suspect from the convenience store robbery just the other day and now he's telling you that he has a weapon. One should be able to easily connect the dots on why this happened if they use logic and not emotion.

  4. Joe What I say "we" because I am Black, not because I do those things. I also use "we" because those who look like me get upset and often miss the message when I separate myself from them with "they". It's semantics of course, but when I can choose the battles I get into, I will choose the easier one to win almost every time.
