  2. Nahhh, let's go the opposite direction and get the Dems to call the Repubs bluff on the gun issue. Dems need to start hinting that the Govt should go all in for the Second Amendment and buy a handgun, a shotgun and a rifle (as well as a case of ammo for each weapon) for each legal citizen of voting age in the US. Also have the Govt approve them for open carry and concealed carry licenses. Republicans don't want everyone to have access to guns, they want unfettered access to guns for their side first and foremost, the other side ... not so much.

  3.  @jakelaurent6  reading their comments you can tell they have never been in a fight they have won. That's why they love them guns, a fist fight would tip the scales against them without one.
