@imedi You had no point, the few foreign pilots were lucky enough to fly for the RAF. The top pilots in the Battle of Britain were British as were most of the pilots in the Battle of Britain, Only a handful of US pilots got there and they had to break US law to do so, again they joined the RAF and flew British fighters. In Italy there were some Australian and New Zealand and Indian troops in North Africa, all supplied by Britain. The British army was the biggest allied force there The rest were part of the British Empire. It still looks like Britain was doing most of the fighting.

@lisamontez9401 There is a very good reason that he is remembered as the hero he was, he saved Britain and Europe as well as North Africa.

@imedi First there is no such thing as a Brit. Is there an Amjerk? Next I know of no British who claimed to have won the war alone, plenty of Yanks make that claim. Britain did stand alone as in they had to face the might of the Luftwaffe in 1940, at the same time they were fighting the Italians in North Africa. In 1940 USSR was supplying Germany and so was USA. Britain had the Empire.
