Not always, at Rorke`s Drift most of the British casualties were from rifle fire while most of the Zulu had spears, they did have a few hundred rifles

The Fibber. Try to look at more than Hollywood movies. USA saved no one.

Kosovo where Nato was a peacekeeping force, they were very restricted in what they could do.

Shatter. Don`t count on it, the 17 pounder could take out a King Tiger from the front. maximum thickness of the King Tiger 185 mm, the 17 pounder using the APDS round could penetrate 200 mm of armour at 500 metres. But if you noticed I said the biggest killers of tanks were anti tank guns not the killers of the biggest tanks .

Planes at the beginning of the war? if you mean the Polikarpov I 16 or the Brewster Buffalo yes they were not great, The Spitfire and Bf 109 were rather good. All things were improved during the war tans, anti tank guns, warships, aircraft, you name it they advanced or usually, there were a few that never made it.

The Hawker Hurricane 2 40 mm, sort of makes the 37 mm look not quite so good. What about the 57 mm gun in a Mosquito, that was the British 6 pounder anti tank gun. There were bigger anti tank guns like the the British 17 pounder anti tank gun and the 25 pounder, they could take out the biggest German tanks. I believe the biggest killers of tanks were anti tank guns.

Of course the only part of the tank a shell would hit.

185 mm maximum thickness, too thick for a gun that can penetrate well over 200 mm. Of course the biggest destroyer of the King Tiger would be the Avro Lancaster which was used to bomb the Henschel factories meaning that less than 500 King Tiger were made, many of the few that did get into service were abandoned or destroyed by their crews, because they ran out of fuel.
