@nicholasconder4703 Or maybe they could have slightly swept the wings back as Messerschmitt did with the Me 262 after they fitted the heavier Jumo engines. Nothing is as bad as the 737 Max.

@jackroutledge352 One would think that of the P 38, it didn't have much performance but the aerodynamics were so bad it suffered at a low speed.
