@LunaRose1312 Where are all these attacks on officers in England? I have not seen it for some reason, however on visits to USA I have seen a car chase in San Francisco resulting in an armed standoff right outside the hotel I was staying in. Then I was in Corpus Christ just after Selena was murdered. I was in Dallas and driving on the same road where a young policeman was shot and killed that afternoon. I was in Arizona when some lunatic shot and killed 58 people. I was in a situation in England where a gang was involved, I confronted the gang and managed to help 4 teenage girls get away and the unarmed police sorted out the gang. If the police regularly carried guns then so would criminals.

Drew 2u This man received the George Cross, most people who get medals do not wear them around, sometimes their family and friends do not know they have a medal tucked away in a drawer.

What about an entertainer who unarmed went up against a gang to successfully save some teenage girls, the same entertainer later got a medal for something very different and not as he would be the first to say bravery but for service to the community.
